Samantha Banos shines at US Junior Nationals

Seal Beach swimmer Samantha Banos participated in the US Junior Nationals in Irvine.  She competed against the fastest 18 and unders in the United States.  She finished 12th in the 200 fly in a personal best and 20th in the 100 fly.  Samantha joined the Seal Beach Swim Club at age 5 and has competed internationally over the years. She traveled to Columbia this summer and won two silver medals. She recently graduated from Los Alamitos High School as a straight "A" student.  She was highly recruited by schools all over the country and decided to attend the University of California, Santa Barbara and plans on studying Actuarial Science.  Congratulations Samantha!
